The existance of God cannot be proved or disproved. " The Bible says we must accept by faith the fact that god exists" (Hebrews 11:6)
Thus, everyone who does not believe in God does not believe in God because they do not want to believe or they simply lack the faith to believe.
Faith is belief. The quoted Hebrews scripture above reveals the hope from God that one may challenge thoughts within the bible; in the end we will believe. A believer in Christ must be one able to detach themselves from the idea of seeing is believing. Without the drive to love and believe in God, one will never achieve the faith needed for a true relationship.
